2020-08-02b43: Replace HTTP links with HTTPS onesAlexander A. Klimov1-1/+1
Rationale: Reduces attack surface on kernel devs opening the links for MITM as HTTPS traffic is much harder to manipulate. Deterministic algorithm: For each file: If not .svg: For each line: If doesn't contain `\bxmlns\b`: For each link, `\bhttp://[^# \t\r\n]*(?:\w|/)`: If neither `\bgnu\.org/license`, nor `\bmozilla\.org/MPL\b`: If both the HTTP and HTTPS versions return 200 OK and serve the same content: Replace HTTP with HTTPS. 2018-11-29b43: Use cordic algorithm from kernel libraryPriit Laes1-47/+0
Kernel library has a common cordic algorithm which is identical to internally implemented one, so use it and drop the duplicate implementation. Acked-by: Larry Finger <Larry.Finger@lwfinger.net> Signed-off-by: Priit Laes <plaes@plaes.org> Signed-off-by: Kalle Valo <kvalo@codeaurora.org>
2018-11-29b43: Fix error in cordic routineLarry Finger1-1/+1
The cordic routine for calculating sines and cosines that was added in commit 6f98e62a9f1b ("b43: update cordic code to match current specs") contains an error whereby a quantity declared u32 can in fact go negative. This problem was detected by Priit Laes who is switching b43 to use the routine in the library functions of the kernel. 2016-04-12cfg80211: remove enum ieee80211_bandJohannes Berg1-1/+1
This enum is already perfectly aliased to enum nl80211_band, and the only reason for it is that we get IEEE80211_NUM_BANDS out of it. There's no really good reason to not declare the number of bands in nl80211 though, so do that and remove the cfg80211 one. Signed-off-by: Johannes Berg <johannes.berg@intel.com>
