2023-03-29i40e: fix registers dump after run ethtool adapter self testRadoslaw Tyl1-5/+6
Fix invalid registers dump from ethtool -d ethX after adapter self test by ethtool -t ethY. It causes invalid data display. The problem was caused by overwriting i40e_reg_list[].elements which is common for ethtool self test and dump. 2023-02-09i40e: use int for i40e_statusJan Sokolowski1-6/+6
To prepare for removal of i40e_status, change the variables from i40e_status to int. This eases the transition when values are changed to return standard int error codes over enum i40e_status. As such changes often also change variable orders, a cleanup is also applied here to make variables conform to RCT and some lines are also reformatted where applicable. After many years of having a ~30 line copyright and license header to our source files, we are finally able to reduce that to one line with the advent of the SPDX identifier. Also caught a few files missing the SPDX license identifier, so fixed them up. Use macros for abstracting (1 << foo) to BIT(foo) and (1ULL << foo64) to BIT_ULL(foo64) in order to match better with kernel requirements. NOTE: the adminq_cmd.h file was not modified on purpose because of the dependency upon firmware for that file. Register range, being subject to register diagnostic, can vary among different NVMs. We will try to identify the full range and use it for a register test. This is needed to avoid false test results. If we fail to define the proper register range we will test only the first register from that group.
