2023-03-29i40e: fix registers dump after run ethtool adapter self testRadoslaw Tyl1-5/+6
Fix invalid registers dump from ethtool -d ethX after adapter self test by ethtool -t ethY. It causes invalid data display. The problem was caused by overwriting i40e_reg_list[].elements which is common for ethtool self test and dump. 2023-02-09i40e: use int for i40e_statusJan Sokolowski1-6/+6
To prepare for removal of i40e_status, change the variables from i40e_status to int. This eases the transition when values are changed to return standard int error codes over enum i40e_status. As such changes often also change variable orders, a cleanup is also applied here to make variables conform to RCT and some lines are also reformatted where applicable. After many years of having a ~30 line copyright and license header to our source files, we are finally able to reduce that to one line with the advent of the SPDX identifier. Also caught a few files missing the SPDX license identifier, so fixed them up. 2015-07-23i40e: use BIT and BIT_ULL macrosJesse Brandeburg1-7/+4
Use macros for abstracting (1 << foo) to BIT(foo) and (1ULL << foo64) to BIT_ULL(foo64) in order to match better with kernel requirements. NOTE: the adminq_cmd.h file was not modified on purpose because of the dependency upon firmware for that file. 2014-06-05i40e: Rework register diagnosticKamil Krawczyk1-13/+37
Register range, being subject to register diagnostic, can vary among different NVMs. We will try to identify the full range and use it for a register test. This is needed to avoid false test results. If we fail to define the proper register range we will test only the first register from that group.
