*-objs suffix is reserved rather for (user-space) host programs while
usually *-y suffix is used for kernel drivers (although *-objs works
for that purpose for now).
Let's correct the old usages of *-objs in Makefiles.

Add the missing endpoint max-packet sanity check to probe() to avoid
division by zero in alloc_stream_buffers() in case a malicious device
has broken descriptors (or when doing descriptor fuzz testing).
Note that USB core will reject URBs submitted for endpoints with zero
wMaxPacketSize but that drivers doing packet-size calculations still
need to handle this (cf. commit 2548288b4fb0 ("USB: Fix: Don't skip
endpoint descriptors with maxpacket=0")).

MODULE_SUPPORTED_DEVICE was added in pre-git era and never was

to have many more reliable mechanisms to determine if device is
supported or not.

The tasklet is an old API that should be deprecated, usually can be
converted to another decent API. In UA101 driver, a tasklet is still
used for handling the output URBs. It can be achieved gracefully with
a work queued in the high-prio system workqueue, too.
This patch replaces the tasklet usage in UA101 driver with a simple
work.

snd_pcm_lib_mmap_vmalloc() was supposed to be implemented with
somewhat special for vmalloc handling, but in the end, this turned to
just the default handler, i.e. NULL. As the situation has never

Add a new helper function snd_pcm_stop_xrun() to the standard sequnce
lock/snd_pcm_stop(XRUN)/unlock by a single call, and replace the
existing open codes with this helper.
The function checks the PCM running state to prevent setting the wrong
state, too, for more safety.

The recent changes in the USB API ("implement new semantics for
URB_ISO_ASAP") made the former meaning of the URB_ISO_ASAP flag the
default, and changed this flag to mean that URBs can be delayed.
This is not the behaviour wanted by any of the audio drivers because
it leads to discontinuous playback with very small period sizes.
Therefore, our URBs need to be submitted without this flag.

module_param(bool) used to counter-intuitively take an int. In
fddd5201 (mid-2009) we allowed bool or int/unsigned int using a messy
trick.
It's time to remove the int/unsigned int option. For this version
it'll simply give a warning, but it'll break next kernel version.

If the device is unplugged while running, it is possible for a PCM
device to be closed after the disconnect callback has returned. This
means that kill_stream_urb() and disable_iso_interface() would try to
access already-invalid or freed USB data structures.
The function free_usb_related_resources() was intended to prevent this,
but forgot to clear the affected variables.

Clean up the usb audio driver by factoring out a lot of functions to

got a new home now.
Moved almost all special quirk handling to quirks.c and introduced new
generic functions to handle them, so the exceptions do not pollute the
whole driver.

Renamed usbmidi.c to midi.c for namespace clarity.
