2024-06-24drm/panic: Add support for drawing a monochrome graphical logoGeert Uytterhoeven1-0/+2
Re-use the existing support for boot-up logos to draw a monochrome graphical logo in the DRM panic handler. When no suitable graphical logo is available, the code falls back to the ASCII art penguin logo. Note that all graphical boot-up logos are freed during late kernel initialization, hence a copy must be made for later use. 2023-07-28video: logo: LOGO should depend on FB_CORE i.s.o. FBGeert Uytterhoeven1-1/+1
If CONFIG_FB_CORE=y and CONFIG_FB=n, the frame buffer bootup logos can no longer be enabled. Fix this by making CONFIG_LOGO depend on CONFIG_FB_CORE instead of CONFIG_FB, as there is no good reason for the logo code to depend on the presence of real frame buffer device drivers. 2019-01-16fbdev: fbmem: convert CONFIG_FB_LOGO_CENTER into a cmd line optionPeter Rosin1-9/+0
A command line option is much more flexible than a config option and the supporting code is small. Gets rid of #ifdefs in the code too... 2005-07-07[PATCH] m32r: framebuffer device supportHirokazu Takata1-0/+5
This patch is for supporting Epson s1d13xxx framebuffer device for m32r. # Sorry, a little bigger. The Epson s1d13806 is already supported by 2.6.12 kernel, and its driver is placed as drivers/video/s1d13xxxfb.c. For the m32r, a header file include/asm-m32r/s1d13806.h was prepared for several m32r target platforms. It was originally generated by an Epson tool S1D13806CFG.EXE, and modified manually for the m32r platforms. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
