2023-08-04fbdev/omapfb: Use fbdev I/O helpersThomas Zimmermann1-3/+1
Set struct fb_ops and with FB_DEFAULT_IOMEM_OPS, fbdev's initializer for I/O memory. Sets the callbacks to the cfb_ and fb_io_ functions. Select the correct modules with Kconfig's FB_IOMEM_HELPERS token. The macro and token set the currently selected values, so there is no functional change. v3: * use _IOMEM_ in commit message v2: * updated to use _IOMEM_ tokens Signed-off-by: Thomas Zimmermann <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Sam Ravnborg <[email protected]> Acked-by: Helge Deller <[email protected]> Link: https://patchwork.freedesktop.org/patch/msgid/[email protected]
2023-01-12fbdev: omapfb: remove unused board supportArnd Bergmann1-9/+0
A number of omap1 based board files got removed, so the corresponding framebuffer drivers are no longer used. The remaining ones are for ams_delta, osk and palmTE, which are still part of the mainline kernel. 2015-05-27video: omap/h3: fix tps65010 dependencyArnd Bergmann1-1/+1
The h3 LCD driver fails to link when tps65010 is configured as a loadable module: drivers/built-in.o: In function `h3_panel_disable': debugfs.c:(.text+0x206ac): undefined reference to `tps65010_set_gpio_out_value' debugfs.c:(.text+0x206cc): undefined reference to `tps65010_set_gpio_out_value' drivers/built-in.o: In function `h3_panel_enable': debugfs.c:(.text+0x206e0): undefined reference to `tps65010_set_gpio_out_value' debugfs.c:(.text+0x20704): undefined reference to `tps65010_set_gpio_out_value' This clarifies the dependency so we can only select it if the dependnecy is built-in. 2014-05-09video/omap: fix modular buildArnd Bergmann1-0/+9
The framebuffer layer can be a loadable module, which forces omapfb to be a module as well. However, this breaks the lcd drivers, which are linked into the omapfb driver but each have their own module_init() function. To solve this, we split out the lcd drivers into separate modules and export omapfb_register_panel, which is the only interface required between the main omapfb driver and the lcd panel drivers. We also have to introduce a new Kconfig symbol for H3, since that lcd driver has a dependency on TPS65010, which we can express better in Kconfig than Makefile syntax. 2014-04-17video: move fbdev to drivers/video/fbdevTomi Valkeinen1-0/+52
The drivers/video directory is a mess. It contains generic video related files, directories for backlight, console, linux logo, lots of fbdev device drivers, fbdev framework files. Make some order into the chaos by creating drivers/video/fbdev directory, and move all fbdev related files there. No functionality is changed, although I guess it is possible that some subtle Makefile build order related issue could be created by this patch.
