2012-10-03drm/nouveau: restructure source tree, split core from drm implementationBen Skeggs1-119/+0
Future work will be headed in the way of separating the policy supplied by the nouveau drm module from the mechanisms provided by the driver core. There will be a couple of major classes (subdev, engine) of driver modules that have clearly defined tasks, and the further directory structure change is to reflect this. No code changes here whatsoever, aside from fixing up a couple of include file pathnames. Signed-off-by: Ben Skeggs <bskeggs@redhat.com>
2012-05-23nouveau: add PRIME supportDave Airlie1-1/+5
This adds prime->fd and fd->prime support to nouveau, it passes the SG object to TTM, and then populates the GART entries using it. v2: add stubbed kmap + use new function to fill out pages array for faulting + add reimport test. 2011-12-22drm/nouveau/ttm: fix crash as a result of a recent ttm changeBen Skeggs1-1/+1
"drm/ttm: callback move_notify any time bo placement change v4" failed to avoid a NULL pointer dereference in nouveau caused by move_notify being expected to handle that case now. Signed-off-by: Ben Skeggs <bskeggs@redhat.com>

2011-05-16drm/nv50/gr: move to exec engine interfacesBen Skeggs1-1/+0
This needs a massive cleanup, but to catch bugs from the interface changes vs the engine code cleanup, this will be done later. Signed-off-by: Ben Skeggs <bskeggs@redhat.com>
2011-05-16drm/nouveau: working towards a common way to represent enginesBen Skeggs1-1/+1
There's lots of more-or-less independant engines present on NVIDIA GPUs these days, and we generally want to perform the same operations on them. Implementing new ones requires hooking into lots of different places, the aim of this work is to make this simpler and cleaner. NV84:NV98 PCRYPT moved over as a test. 2011-02-25drm/nv50-nvc0: delay GART binding until move_notify timeBen Skeggs1-4/+4
The immediate benefit of doing this is that on NV50 and up, the GPU virtual address of any buffer is now constant, regardless of what memtype they're placed in. Signed-off-by: Ben Skeggs <bskeggs@redhat.com>
2011-02-25drm/nouveau: rename nouveau_vram to nouveau_memBen Skeggs1-5/+5
This structure will also be used for GART in the near future. Signed-off-by: Ben Skeggs <bskeggs@redhat.com>
