2023-01-18drm/aspeed: Remove unnecessary include statements for drm_crtc_helper.hThomas Zimmermann1-1/+0
Several source files include drm_crtc_helper.h without needing it or only to get its transitive include statements; leading to unnecessary compile-time dependencies. Drop drm_crtc_helper.h where possible. v2: * update commit message (Sam) Signed-off-by: Thomas Zimmermann <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Sam Ravnborg <[email protected]> Acked-by: Jani Nikula <[email protected]> Acked-by: Alex Deucher <[email protected]> Link: https://patchwork.freedesktop.org/patch/msgid/[email protected]
2022-06-20drm: Drop drm_edid.h from drm_crtc.hVille Syrjälä1-0/+1
drm_crtc.h has no need for drm_edid.h, so don't include it. Avoids useless rebuilds of the entire universe when touching drm_edid.h. Quite a few placs do currently depend on drm_edid.h without actually including it directly. All of those need to be fixed up. v2: Fix up i915 and msm some more v3: Fix alphabetical ordering (Sam) Signed-off-by: Ville Syrjälä <[email protected]> Link: https://patchwork.freedesktop.org/patch/msgid/[email protected] Acked-by: Sam Ravnborg <[email protected]> Acked-by: Jani Nikula <[email protected]>
2020-04-28drm/aspeed: Use devm_drm_dev_allocDaniel Vetter1-1/+1
As usual, we can drop the drm_dev_put() and need to embed the drm_device. Since it's so few, also go right ahead and leave drm_device->dev_private set to NULL, so that we always use the container_of() upcast, which is faster anyway. 2019-04-04drm: Add ASPEED GFX driverJoel Stanley1-0/+42
This driver is for the ASPEED BMC SoC's GFX display hardware. This driver runs on the ARM based BMC systems, unlike the ast driver which runs on a host CPU and is is for a PCI graphics device.
