2023-11-17crypto: sun8i-ss - use crypto_shash_tfm_digest() in sun8i_ss_hashkey()Eric Biggers1-21/+4
Simplify sun8i_ss_hashkey() by using crypto_shash_tfm_digest() instead of an alloc+init+update+final sequence. This should also improve performance. Signed-off-by: Eric Biggers <ebiggers@google.com> Signed-off-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au>
2023-08-18crypto: sun8i-ss - Use new crypto_engine_op interfaceHerbert Xu1-51/+61
Use the new crypto_engine_op interface where the callback is stored in the algorithm object. Signed-off-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au>
2023-08-18crypto: sun8i-ss - Remove prepare/unprepare requestHerbert Xu1-2/+0
The callbacks for prepare and unprepare request in crypto_engine is superfluous. They can be done directly from do_one_request. Move the code into do_one_request and remove the unused callbacks. Signed-off-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au>
2023-06-13crypto: update some Arm documentation referencesJonathan Corbet1-1/+1
The Arm documentation has moved to Documentation/arch/arm; update a set of references under crypto/allwinner to match. 2023-01-06crypto: sun8i-ss - Remove GFP_DMA and add DMA alignment paddingHerbert Xu1-2/+2
GFP_DMA does not guarantee that the returned memory is aligned for DMA. In fact for sun8i-ss it is superfluous and can be removed. However, kmalloc may start returning DMA-unaligned memory in future so fix this by adding the alignment by hand. 2022-06-10crypto: sun8i-ss - fix a NULL vs IS_ERR() check in sun8i_ss_hashkeyPeng Wu1-2/+2
The crypto_alloc_shash() function never returns NULL. It returns error pointers. Fixes: 801b7d572c0a ("crypto: sun8i-ss - add hmac(sha1)") Signed-off-by: Peng Wu <wupeng58@huawei.com> Reported-by: Hulk Robot <hulkci@huawei.com> Signed-off-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au>
2022-06-10crypto: sun8i-ss - Fix error codes for dma_mapping_error()Dan Carpenter1-2/+4
If there is a dma_mapping_error() then return negative error codes. Currently this code returns success. 2022-05-13crypto: sun8i-ss - add hmac(sha1)Corentin Labbe1-6/+194
Even if sun8i-ss does not handle hmac(sha1) directly, we can provide one which use the already supported acceleration of sha1. Signed-off-by: Corentin Labbe <clabbe@baylibre.com> Signed-off-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au>
2022-05-13crypto: sun8i-ss - Add function for handling hash paddingCorentin Labbe1-22/+65
Move all padding work to a dedicated function. Signed-off-by: Corentin Labbe <clabbe@baylibre.com> Signed-off-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au>
2022-05-13crypto: sun8i-ss - rework debuggingCorentin Labbe1-9/+27
The "Fallback for xxx" message is annoying, remove it and store the information in the debugfs. In the same time, reports more fallback statistics. Signed-off-by: Corentin Labbe <clabbe@baylibre.com> Signed-off-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au>
2022-05-13crypto: sun8i-ss - handle requests if last block is not modulo 64Corentin Labbe1-9/+26
The current sun8i-ss handle only requests with all SG length being modulo 64. But the last SG could be always handled by copying it on the pad buffer. Signed-off-by: Corentin Labbe <clabbe@baylibre.com> Signed-off-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au>
2022-05-13crypto: sun8i-ss - do not zeroize all padCorentin Labbe1-2/+4
Instead of memset all pad buffer, it is faster to only put 0 where needed. Signed-off-by: Corentin Labbe <clabbe@baylibre.com> Signed-off-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au>
2022-05-13crypto: sun8i-ss - do not allocate memory when handling hash requestsCorentin Labbe1-12/+3
Instead of allocate memory on each requests, it is easier to pre-allocate buffers. This made error path easier. Signed-off-by: Corentin Labbe <clabbe@baylibre.com> Signed-off-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au>
2022-05-13crypto: sun8i-ss - test error before assigningCorentin Labbe1-4/+4
The first thing we should do after dma_map_single() is to test the result. Signed-off-by: Corentin Labbe <clabbe@baylibre.com> Signed-off-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au>
2022-05-13crypto: sun8i-ss - remove redundant testCorentin Labbe1-11/+1
Some fallback tests were redundant with what sun8i_ss_hash_need_fallback() already do. Signed-off-by: Corentin Labbe <clabbe@baylibre.com> Signed-off-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au>
2022-05-13crypto: sun8i-ss - handle zero sized sgCorentin Labbe1-1/+9
sun8i-ss does not handle well the possible zero sized sg. Fixes: d9b45418a917 ("crypto: sun8i-ss - support hash algorithms") Signed-off-by: Corentin Labbe <clabbe@baylibre.com> Signed-off-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au>
2022-03-03crypto: sun8i-ss - call finalize with bh disabledCorentin Labbe1-0/+3
Doing ipsec produces a spinlock recursion warning. This is due to not disabling BH during crypto completion function. Fixes: f08fcced6d00 ("crypto: allwinner - Add sun8i-ss cryptographic offloader") Signed-off-by: Corentin Labbe <clabbe@baylibre.com> Signed-off-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au>

2021-03-26crypto: allwinner - Fix the parameter of dma_unmap_sg()Xiang Chen1-1/+2
For function dma_unmap_sg(), the <nents> parameter should be number of elements in the scatterlist prior to the mapping, not after the mapping. So fix this usage. 2020-11-20crypto: sha - split sha.h into sha1.h and sha2.hEric Biggers1-1/+2
Currently <crypto/sha.h> contains declarations for both SHA-1 and SHA-2, and <crypto/sha3.h> contains declarations for SHA-3. This organization is inconsistent, but more importantly SHA-1 is no longer considered to be cryptographically secure. So to the extent possible, SHA-1 shouldn't be grouped together with any of the other SHA versions, and usage of it should be phased out. Therefore, split <crypto/sha.h> into two headers <crypto/sha1.h> and <crypto/sha2.h>, and make everyone explicitly specify whether they want the declarations for SHA-1, SHA-2, or both. This avoids making the SHA-1 declarations visible to files that don't want anything to do with SHA-1. It also prepares for potentially moving sha1.h into a new insecure/ or dangerous/ directory.
