2024-07-11x86/sev: Move SEV compilation unitsBorislav Petkov (AMD)1-0/+1
A long time ago it was agreed upon that the coco stuff needs to go where it belongs: https://lore.kernel.org/all/[email protected] and not keep it in arch/x86/kernel. TDX did that and SEV can't find time to do so. So lemme do it. If people have trouble converting their ongoing featuritis patches, ask me for a sed script. No functional changes. Move the instrumentation exclusion bits too, as helpfully caught and reported by the 0day folks. 2022-04-07x86/tdx: Detect running as a TDX guest in early bootKuppuswamy Sathyanarayanan1-0/+2
In preparation of extending cc_platform_has() API to support TDX guest, use CPUID instruction to detect support for TDX guests in the early boot code (via tdx_early_init()). Since copy_bootdata() is the first user of cc_platform_has() API, detect the TDX guest status before it. Define a synthetic feature flag (X86_FEATURE_TDX_GUEST) and set this bit in a valid TDX guest platform. Signed-off-by: Kuppuswamy Sathyanarayanan <[email protected]> Signed-off-by: Kirill A. 2022-02-23x86/cc: Move arch/x86/{kernel/cc_platform.c => coco/core.c}Kirill A. Shutemov1-0/+6
Move cc_platform.c to arch/x86/coco/. The directory is going to be the home space for code related to confidential computing. Intel TDX code will land here. AMD SEV code will also eventually be moved there. No functional changes. Signed-off-by: Kirill A.
