CONFIG_BASE_FULL is equivalent to !CONFIG_BASE_SMALL and is enabled by
default: CONFIG_BASE_SMALL is the special case to take care of.
So, remove CONFIG_BASE_FULL and move the config choice to
CONFIG_BASE_SMALL (which defaults to 'n')
For defconfigs explicitely disabling BASE_FULL, explicitely enable
BASE_SMALL.
For defconfigs explicitely enabling BASE_FULL, drop it as it is the
default.

The debug-info and can subystem options have moved around in the

CONFIG_DEBUG_INFO is now implicitly selected if one picks one of the
explicit options that could be DEBUG_INFO_DWARF_TOOLCHAIN_DEFAULT,
DEBUG_INFO_DWARF4, DEBUG_INFO_DWARF5.
This was actually not what I had in mind when I suggested making
it a 'choice' statement, but it's too late to change again now,
and the Kconfig logic is more sensible in the new form.
Change any defconfig file that had CONFIG_DEBUG_INFO enabled
but did not pick DWARF4 or DWARF5 explicitly to now pick the toolchain
default.

The default is always 0x0 after commit 39c3e304567a ("ARM: 8984/1:
Kconfig: set default ZBOOT_ROM_TEXT/BSS value to 0x0"), so any
defconfig file that has these two lines can now drop them to reduce
the diff against the 'make savedefconfig' version.

A lot of Kconfig options have changed over the years, and we tend
to not do a blind 'make defconfig' to refresh the files, to ensure
we catch options that should not have gone away.
I used some a bit of scripting to only rework the bits where an
option moved around in any of the defconfig files, without also
dropping any of the other lines, to make it clearer which options
we no longer have.

In a recent discussion[1] it was reported that the binfmt_flat library
support was only ever used on m68k and even on m68k has not been used
in a very long time.
The structure of binfmt_flat is different from all of the other binfmt
implementations because of this shared library support and it made
life and code review more effort when I refactored the code in fs/exec.c.
Since in practice the code is dead remove the binfmt_flat shared library
support and make maintenance of the code easier.

The IOSCHED_DEADLINE was replaced by MQ_IOSCHED_DEADLINE and it will be

None of the LPC18xx device trees contains any display settings,
it just defines a device tree node for the CLCD (PL11x) set
as "disabled" and no panels are attached on any device tree.
This I conclude that the hardware is dormant on existing
systems, so we can without any problems switch the defconfig
over from the old ARMCLCD frame buffer driver to the new
PL11x DRM driver.

Pull ARM SoC defconfig updates from Olof Johansson:
"Defconfig updates are kept separate from other branches mostly to
avoid conflicts between the different categories (driver branch
enabling something that has context conflict with SoC options, etc).
A lot of this again is scattered across the various hardware
platforms. multi_v7_defconfig, our "generic" config for most 32-bit
platforms has been gone through by Marvell Berlin maintainers and
added most options they need to run on their hardware. Broadcom NSP
is also added there, and the new Atmel SAMA5D2 (added last release).
Rockchip also has display and other devices supported in that config.
In addition to that, the usual small churn of new options being added
here and there"
