In ac12f6764c50 ("perf tools: Implement branch_type event parameter") we
started using the parse_branch_str() function from one of the files used
in the python binding, which caused this entry in 'perf test' to fail:

I must've commited some mistake when running 'perf test' to send the
pull request for the perf-core-for-mingo-20161024 tag, to have let this
regression to pass, sigh.
Just add tools/perf/util/parse-branch-options.c and switch from using
ui__warning(), that is not available in the python binding, use
pr_warning() instead, which is good enough for this case.

Because it uses that function, which would lead every tool using it

The tools so far have been using the strerror_r() GNU variant, that
returns a string, be it the buffer passed or something else.
But that, besides being tricky in cases where we expect that the
function using strerror_r() returns the error formatted in a provided
buffer (we have to check if it returned something else and copy that
instead), breaks the build on systems not using glibc, like Alpine
Linux, where musl libc is used.
So, introduce yet another wrapper, str_error_r(), that has the GNU
interface, but uses the portable XSI variant of strerror_r(), so that
users rest asured that the provided buffer is used and it is what is
returned.

The commit that introduced it should've moved it to the same place, plus
the 'tools/' prefix, but instead moved it to a bogus tools/lib/util/
directory, being the only file there.
Move it to tools/lib/find_bit.c, picking the name for the file where
these routines live since:
8f6f19dd5143 ("lib: move find_last_bit to lib/find_next_bit.c")
Next step is to make tools/lib/find_bit.c to differ from lib/find_bit.c
just in removing what is not used by tools/.

Moving 'struct perf_counts' and associated functions into separate
object, so we could remove stat.c object dependency from python build.
It makes the python code to build properly, because it fails to load due
to missing stat-shadow.c object dependency if some patches from Kan
Liang are applied.
So apply this one, then Kan's.

Instead of accessing it directly, as it uses EXPORT_SYMBOL, that has
no meaning in tools/perf and because we removed the stubs for it, i.e.
we removed the tools/include/linux/export.h file.
This fixes the build for the detached tarball sources cases and removes
one more source of entanglement with the kernel sources.

The python binding build process was still looking at the kernel
rbtree.c file, so, when doing a in-tree build it would work, but when
creating a tarball using tools/perf/MANIFEST as the contents list and
then trying to build the resulting detached sources, it failed.
Fix it by removing one level of indirection from rbtree.c in the
tools/perf/util/python-ext-sources file.

Adding support to hold comm name together with pids in 'struct
thread_map'. It will be useful for --per-thread option to display task
pid together with task name.
Adding thread_map__read_comms function that reads/set
comm string for the 'struct thread_map'.
Getting the task name from /proc/$pid/comm.

We need to use lib/hweight.c for that, just like we do for lib/rbtree.c,
so tools need to link hweight.o. For now do it directly, but we need to

Add trace-event object to keep together 'struct pevent' object with its
loaded plugins with following interface:
int trace_event__init(struct trace_event *t);
- Initalizes 'struct pevent' object and loads plugins for it
void trace_event__cleanup(struct trace_event *t);

The perf python extention (perf.so) file lacks its dependencies in the
Makefile so that it cannot be refreshed if one of source files it depends
is changed. Fix it by putting them in a separate file and processing it in
both of Makefile and setup.py.
