2017-08-16drm: omapdrm: hdmi: Pass HDMI core version as integer to HDMI audioLaurent Pinchart1-6/+3
The HDMI audio driver only needs to know which generation of HDMI transmitter it deals with, not the detailed SoC model. Pass the version number as an integer to prepare for removal of the OMAP SoC version from the omapdrm driver. 2015-06-03ASoC: omap-hdmi-audio: Force channel allocation only for OMAP4Misael Lopez Cruz1-4/+2
There is a constraint in the OMAP4 HDMI IP that requires to use the 8-channel code when transmitting more than two channels. The constraint doesn't apply for OMAP5 so don't force the channel allocation in the sound driver as it can be done specifically for OMAP4 later in the hdmi4 core. 2014-12-01ASoC: omap-hdmi-audio: Add platform device for OMAP HDMI audio supportJyri Sarha1-0/+407
The platform device should only be registered from OMAPDSS HDMI driver. The platform driver registers and unregisters all ASoC components needed for OMAP HDMI audio. The hdmi audio driver implements cpu-dai component using the callbacks provided by OMAPDSS and registers the component under DSS HDMI device. Omap-pcm is registered for platform component also under DSS HDMI device. Dummy codec is used as as codec component. The hdmi audio driver implements also the card and registers it under its own platform device.
