| 2008-06-27 | backtrace: replace timer with tasklet + completions | Vegard Nossum | 1 | -11/+26 | |
| On qemu, the backtrace would show up _after_ the "end of backtrace testing" message. This patch changes it to use completions instead, which will guarantee that no such race exists. | 2008-06-27 | stacktrace: add saved stack traces to backtrace self-test | Vegard Nossum | 1 | -1/+29 | |
| This patch adds saved stack-traces to the backtrace suite of self-tests. Note that we don't depend on or unconditionally enable CONFIG_STACKTRACE because not all architectures may have it (and we still want to enable the other tests for those architectures). | 2008-01-30 | x86: add a simple backtrace test module | Arjan van de Ven | 1 | -0/+48 | |
| During the work on the x86 32 and 64 bit backtrace code I found it useful to have a simple test module to test a process and irq context backtrace. Since the existing backtrace code was buggy, I figure it might be useful to have such a test module in the kernel so that maybe we can even detect such bugs earlier..
