2021-11-15iavf: Fix return of set the new channel countMateusz Palczewski1-0/+15
Fixed return correct code from set the new channel count. Implemented by check if reset is done in appropriate time. This solution give a extra time to pf for reset vf in case when user want set new channel count for all vfs. Without this patch it is possible to return misleading output code to user and vf reset not to be correctly performed by pf. 2021-11-15net: stmmac: socfpga: add runtime suspend/resume callback for stratix10 platformMeng Li1-2/+22
According to upstream commit 5ec55823438e("net: stmmac: add clocks management for gmac driver"), it improve clocks management for stmmac driver. So, it is necessary to implement the runtime callback in dwmac-socfpga driver because it doesn't use the common stmmac_pltfr_pm_ops instance. Otherwise, clocks are not disabled when system enters suspend status. 2021-11-15bnxt_en: reject indirect blk offload when hw-tc-offload is offSriharsha Basavapatna1-1/+1
The driver does not check if hw-tc-offload is enabled for the device before offloading a flow in the context of indirect block callback. Fix this by checking NETIF_F_HW_TC in the features flag and rejecting the offload request. This will avoid unnecessary dmesg error logs when hw-tc-offload is disabled, such as these: bnxt_en 0000:19:00.1 eno2np1: dev(ifindex=294) not on same switch bnxt_en 0000:19:00.1 eno2np1: Error: bnxt_tc_add_flow: cookie=0xffff8dace1c88000 error=-22 bnxt_en 0000:19:00.0 eno1np0: dev(ifindex=294) not on same switch bnxt_en 0000:19:00.0 eno1np0: Error: bnxt_tc_add_flow: cookie=0xffff8dace1c88000 error=-22 Reported-by: Marcelo Ricardo Leitner <[email protected]> Fixes: 627c89d00fb9 ("bnxt_en: flow_offload: offload tunnel decap rules via indirect callbacks") Signed-off-by: Sriharsha Basavapatna <[email protected]> Signed-off-by: Michael Chan <[email protected]> Signed-off-by: David S. 2021-11-15atlantic: Fix OOB read and write in hw_atl_utils_fw_rpc_waitZekun Shen1-0/+10
This bug report shows up when running our research tools. The reports is SOOB read, but it seems SOOB write is also possible a few lines below. In details, fw.len and sw.len are inputs coming from io. A len over the size of self->rpc triggers SOOB. The patch fixes the bugs by adding sanity checks. The bugs are triggerable with compromised/malfunctioning devices. They are potentially exploitable given they first leak up to 0xffff bytes and able to overwrite the region later. The patch is tested with QEMU emulater. This is NOT tested with a real device. Attached is the log we found by fuzzing. Therefore use VMBUS_RING_SIZE() to calculate the ringbuffer size. Note that the old size (20 * 1024) counts a 4k header in the total size, while VMBUS_RING_SIZE() expects the parameter as the payload size, so use 16 * 1024. 2021-11-12hamradio: remove needs_free_netdev to avoid UAFLin Ma1-1/+0
The former patch "defer 6pack kfree after unregister_netdev" reorders the kfree of two buffer after the unregister_netdev to prevent the race condition. It also adds free_netdev() function in sixpack_close(), which is a direct copy from the similar code in mkiss_close(). However, in sixpack driver, the flag needs_free_netdev is set to true in sp_setup(), hence the unregister_netdev() will free the netdev automatically. Therefore, as the sp is netdev_priv, use-after-free occurs. This patch removes the needs_free_netdev = true and just let the free_netdev to finish this deallocation task. 2021-11-12thermal: int340x: fix build on 32-bit targetsLinus Torvalds1-0/+1
Commit aeb58c860dc5 ("thermal/drivers/int340x: processor_thermal: Suppot 64 bit RFIM responses") started using 'readq()' to read 64-bit status responses from the int340x hardware. That's all fine and good, but on 32-bit targets a 64-bit 'readq()' is ambiguous, since it's no longer an atomic access. Some hardware might require 64-bit accesses, and other hardware might want low word first or high word first. It's quite likely that the driver isn't relevant in a 32-bit environment any more, and there's a patch floating around to just make it depend on X86_64, but let's make it buildable on x86-32 anyway. The driver previously just read the low 32 bits, so the hardware certainly is ok with 32-bit reads, and in a little-endian environment the low word first model is the natural one. So just add the include for the 'io-64-nonatomic-lo-hi.h' version. 2021-11-12of/irq: Don't ignore interrupt-controller when interrupt-map failedMarc Zyngier1-3/+16
Since 041284181226 ("of/irq: Allow matching of an interrupt-map local to an interrupt controller"), the irq code favors using an interrupt-map over a interrupt-controller property if both are available, while the earlier behaviour was to ignore the interrupt-map altogether. However, we now end-up with the opposite behaviour, which is to ignore the interrupt-controller property even if the interrupt-map fails to match its input. This new behaviour breaks the AmigaOne X1000 machine, which ships with an extremely "creative" (read: broken) device tree. Fix this by allowing the interrupt-controller property to be selected when interrupt-map fails to match anything. 2021-11-12irqchip/sifive-plic: Fixup EOI failed when maskedGuo Ren1-1/+7
When using "devm_request_threaded_irq(,,,,IRQF_ONESHOT,,)" in a driver, only the first interrupt is handled, and following interrupts are never delivered (initially reported in [1]). That's because the RISC-V PLIC cannot EOI masked interrupts, as explained in the description of Interrupt Completion in the PLIC spec [2]: <quote> The PLIC signals it has completed executing an interrupt handler by writing the interrupt ID it received from the claim to the claim/complete register. The PLIC does not check whether the completion ID is the same as the last claim ID for that target. If the completion ID does not match an interrupt source that *is currently enabled* for the target, the completion is silently ignored. </quote> Re-enable the interrupt before completion if it has been masked during the handling, and remask it afterwards. 2021-11-12irqchip/csky-mpintc: Fixup mask/unmask implementationGuo Ren1-4/+4
The mask/unmask must be implemented, and enable/disable supplement them if the HW requires something different at startup time. When irq source is disabled by mask, mpintc could complete irq normally. So drop enable/disable if favour of mask/unmask.
