Pointer cursg is initialized to cmd->cursg and again re-assigned the
same value a few lines later, hence the second assignment is redundant
and can be removed.
Cleans up clang warning:

The flags field the enum is used with comes directly from the uapi
so it belongs in the uapi headers for clarity and so userspace can
use it.

NET_UDP_TUNNEL is not user selectable, so it should be used as a select
in kconfig.
CRYPTO_CRC32 is a required library for RDMA_RXE so it should active
automatically, as most other CRYPTO_ users do.

We never support certain mode flags etc. Reject those early on in the
mode_config.mode_valid() hook. That allows us to remove some duplicated
checks from the connector .mode_valid() hooks, and it guarantees that
we never see those flags even from user mode as the
mode_config.mode_valid() hooks gets executed for those as well.

Allow drivers to provide a device wide .mode_valid() hook in addition to
the already existing crtc/encoder/bridge/connector hooks. This can be
used to validate device/driver wide constraings without having to add
those to the other hooks. And since we call this hook also for user
modes later on in the modeset we don't have to worry about anything the
hook has already rejected.
I also have some further ideas for this hook. Eg. we could replace the
drm_mode_set_crtcinfo(HALVE_V) call in drm_mode_convert_umode()/etc.
with a driver specific variant via this hook. At least on i915 we would
like to pass CRTC_STEREO_DOUBLE to that function instead, and then
we could safely use the crtc_ timings in all our .mode_valid() hooks,
which would allow us to reuse those hooks for validating the
adjusted_mode during a modeset.

a request had timed out if it to reused at the wrong time.
- null_blk now supports faking timeouts, to enable us to better
exercise and test that functionality separately. From me.
- Kill the separate atomic poll bit in the request struct. After
this, we don't use the atomic bits on blk-mq anymore at all. From

- sgl_alloc/free helpers from Bart.
- Heavily contended tag case scalability improvement from me.

DRM_MODE_TYPE_BUILTIN handling
For some reason drm_mode_set_crtcinfo() does nothing if the mode has
the DRM_MODE_TYPE_BUILTIN flag set without the other bit from
DRM_MODE_TYPE_CRTC_C also set. I have zero idea what that is supposed
to achieve, but since we have no users for neither flag bit let's kill
this nonsense off.

In case of error, the function class_create() returns ERR_PTR() and
never returns NULL. The NULL test in the return value check should be
replaced with IS_ERR().

Currently userspace is allowed to feed in any king of garbage in the
high bits of the mode flags/type, as are drivers when probing modes.
Reject any mode with bogus flags/type.
Hopefully this won't break any current userspace...

Pull MMC updates from Ulf Hansson:
"There are two major achievements for MMC in this release, which
deserves to be specially highlighted.
First, we have converted the MMC block device from using the legacy
blk interface into using the modern blkmq interface. Not only do we
get all the nice effects from using blkmq, but it also means that new
fresh nice code replaces old rusty code. Great news to everybody that
cares about MMC/SD!
It should also be noted that converting to blkmq has not been trivial,
mostly because of that we have been carrying too much of MMC specific
optimizations for the I/O request path, rather than striving to move
these to the generic blk layer. Hopefully we won't be doing that
mistake, ever again.
Special thanks to Adrian Hunter (Intel) and to Linus Walleij (Linaro),
who both have been working on this for quite some time!
Second, on top of the blkmq deployment, we have enabled full support
the eMMC command queuing feature, introduced in the eMMC v.5.1 spec.
This also includes an implementation of a host driver library,
supporting the corresponding CQHCI HW. Ideally, those controllers that
supports CQHCI should only need some minor adaptations to make this
play.
So far the sdhci-pci driver for the Intel GLKs and the sdhci-of-arasan
driver used on Rockchip RK3399, have enabled support for eMMC command
queueing.
Worth to highlight is also that, implementing the eMMC command queuing
support has been a collaborative effort, as several people from
Codeaurora, Rockchip, Intel and Linaro have been involved. However,
the work has been driven by Adrian Hunter (Intel).
In some shadow of the above, here are the rest of the highlights:

Currently we don't sanity check the 3D stereo flags for modes filled out
by the kernel. Move the check from drm_mode_convert_umode() into
drm_mode_validate_basic() so that we get the same check going both ways.

When compared to ixgbe and other previous Intel drivers the i40e and i40evf
drivers actually reserve 2 additional descriptors in maybe_stop_tx for
cache line alignment. We need to update DESC_NEEDED to reflect this as
otherwise we are more likely to return TX_BUSY which will cause issues with
things like xmit_more.

When the frame check sequence (FCS) is split across the last two frames
of a fragmented packet, part of the FCS gets counted twice, once when
subtracting the FCS, and again when subtracting the previously received
data.
For example, if 1602 bytes are received, and the first fragment contains
the first 1600 bytes (including the first two bytes of the FCS), and the
second fragment contains the last two bytes of the FCS:
'skb->len == 1600' from the first fragment
size = lstatus & BD_LENGTH_MASK; # 1602
size -= ETH_FCS_LEN; # 1598
size -= skb->len; # -2
Since the size is unsigned, it wraps around and causes a BUG later in
the packet handling, as shown below:

Move the last used path to the end of the list (least preferred) so that
ties are more evenly distributed.
For example, in case with three paths with one that is slower than
others, the remaining two would be unevenly used if they tie. This is
due to the rotation not being a truely fair distribution.
Illustrated: paths a, b, c, 'c' has 1 outstanding IO, a and b are 'tied'
Three possible rotations:
(a, b, c) -> best path 'a'
(b, c, a) -> best path 'b'
(c, a, b) -> best path 'a'
(a, b, c) -> best path 'a'
(b, c, a) -> best path 'b'
(c, a, b) -> best path 'a'
...
So 'a' is used 2x more than 'b', although they should be used evenly.
With this change, the most recently used path is always the least
preferred, removing this bias resulting in even distribution.
(a, b, c) -> best path 'a'
(b, c, a) -> best path 'b'
(c, a, b) -> best path 'a'
(c, b, a) -> best path 'b'

Since the unstripe target takes a target length which is the
size of *one* striped member we're trying to expose, not the
total size of *all* the striped members, the check does not
make sense and fails for some striped setups.
For example, say we have a 4TB striped device:

The 'verify_rq_based:' code in dm_table_determine_type() was checking
all devices in the DM table rather than only checking the data devices.
Fix this by using the immutable target's iterate_devices method.
Also, tweak the block of dm_table_determine_type() code that decides
whether to upgrade from DM_TYPE_BIO_BASED to DM_TYPE_NVME_BIO_BASED so
that it makes sure the immutable_target doesn't support require
splitting IOs.
These changes have been verified to allow a "thin-pool" target whose
data device is an NVMe device to be upgraded to DM_TYPE_NVME_BIO_BASED.
Using the thin-pool in NVMe bio-based mode was verified to pass all the
device-mapper-test-suite's "thin-provisioning" tests.
Also verified that request-based DM multipath (with queue_mode "rq" and
"mq") works as expected using the 'mptest' harness.

Add DM_ENDIO_DELAY_REQUEUE to allow request-based multipath's
multipath_end_io() to instruct dm-rq.c:dm_done() to delay a requeue.
This is beneficial to do if BLK_STS_RESOURCE is returned from the target
(because target is busy).
Relative to blk-mq: kick the hw queues via blk_mq_requeue_work(),
indirectly from dm-rq.c:__dm_mq_kick_requeue_list(), after a delay.
For old .request_fn: use blk_delay_queue().
bio-based multipath doesn't have feature parity with request-based for
retryable error requeues; that is something that'll need fixing in the
future.

Stop the work on suspend, otherwise it may run between our suspend method
running and the system suspending, possibly restarting the fan which
we've just stopped.
Note we already requeue the work on resume, so that we get a fresh speed
at resume.

Newer versions of the GPD pocket BIOS set the fan-speed to 2 when a
charger gets plugged in while the device is off. Mirror this in our
fan driver and use a minimum speed of 2 while charging,

The Only use of PCI device enumeration here is to get the PMC base address
which is a fixed value i.e. 0xFE000000. On some platforms this can be read
through a non standard PCI BAR. But after Kabylake, PMC is not exposed as a
PCI device anymore. There are other non standard methods like ACPI LPIT
which can also be used for obtaining this value.
For simplicity, this value can be hardcoded as it won't change.
Since we don't have a PMC PCI device on any platform after Kabylake, this
creates a foundation for future SoC support.

When on a platform if we can't show MPHY and PLL status, don't even bother
to create a debugfs entry as it will fail anyway. In fact unless OEM builds
a special BIOS for test, it will fail on every production system.
This will help to add future platform support where we can't support these
entries.

We don't stop device before reset owner, this means we could try to
serve any virtqueue kick before reset dev->worker. This will result a
warn since the work was pending at llist during owner resetting. Fix
this by stopping device during owner reset.

to module name
It was found that ethtool provides unexisting module name while
it queries the specified network device for associated driver
information. Then user tries to unload that module by provided
module name and fails.
This happens because ethtool reads value of DRV_NAME macro,
while module name is defined at the driver's Makefile.
This patch is to correct Cavium CN88xx Thunder NIC driver names
(DRV_NAME macro) 'thunder-nicvf' to 'nicvf' and 'thunder-nic'
to 'nicpf', sync bgx and xcv driver names accordingly to their
module names.

Lockless access to __ptr_ring_full is only legal if ring is
never resized, otherwise it might cause use-after free errors.
Simply drop the lockless test, we'll drop the packet
a bit later when produce fails.

We use 32bit bitmasks to track planes/crtcs/encoders/connectors.
Naturally we can only do that if the index of those objects stays
below 32. Issue a warning whenever we exceed that limit, hopefully
prompting someone to fix the problem.
For connectors the issue is a bit more complicated as they can
be created/destroyed at runtime due to MST. So the problem is no
longer a purely theoretical programmer error. As the connector
indexes are allocated via ida, we can simply limit the maximum
value the ida is allowed to hand out. The error handling is already
in place.

Assert that we do not try to unsubmit a completed request, as should we
try to resubmit it later, the ring is already past the request's
breadcrumb and the breadcrumb will not be updated.
