As 32bits of dissector->used_keys are exhausted,
increase the size to 64bits.

In a setup where a Thunderbolt hub connects to Ethernet and a display
through USB Type-C, users may experience a hung task timeout when they
remove the cable between the PC and the Thunderbolt hub.
This is because the igb_down function is called multiple times when
the Thunderbolt hub is unplugged. For example, the igb_io_error_detected
triggers the first call, and the igb_remove triggers the second call.
The second call to igb_down will block at napi_synchronize.

In this case, igb_io_error_detected detaches the network interface
and requests a PCIE slot reset, however, the PCIE reset callback is
not being invoked and thus the Ethernet connection breaks down.
As the PCIE error in this case is a non-fatal one, requesting a
slot reset can be avoided.
This patch fixes the task hung issue and preserves Ethernet
connection by ignoring non-fatal PCIE errors.

82580/i354/i350 features circle-counter-like timestamp registers
that are different with newer i210. The EXTTS capture value in
AUXTSMPx should be converted from raw circle counter value to
timestamp value in resolution of 1 nanosec by the driver.
This issue can be reproduced on i350 nics, connecting an 1PPS
signal to a SDP pin, and run 'ts2phc' command to read external
1PPS timestamp value. On i210 this works fine, but on i350 the
extts is not correctly converted.
The i350/i354/82580's SYSTIM and other timestamp registers are
40bit counters, presenting time range of 2^40 ns, that means these
registers overflows every about 1099s. This causes all these regs
can't be used directly in contrast to the newer i210/i211s.
The igb driver needs to convert these raw register values to
valid time stamp format by using kernel timecounter apis for i350s
families. Here the igb_extts() just forgot to do the convert.

In igb_hash_mc_addr() the expression:
"mc_addr[4] >> 8 - bit_shift", right shifting "mc_addr[4]"
shift by more than 7 bits always yields zero, so hash becomes not so different.
Add initialization with bit_shift = 1 and add a loop condition to ensure
bit_shift will be always in [1..8] range.

Driver's .adjfine interface functions use adjust_by_scaled_ppm and
diff_by_scaled_ppm introduced in commit 1060707e3809
("ptp: introduce helpers to adjust by scaled parts per million")
to calculate the required adjustment in a concise manner,
but not igb_ptp_adjfine_82580.
Fix it by introducing IGB_82580_BASE_PERIOD and changing function logic
to use diff_by_scaled_ppm.

Enabling SR-IOV causes the virtual functions to make requests to the
PF via the mailbox. Notably, E1000_VF_RESET request will happen during
the initialization of the VF. However, unless the reinit is done, the
VMMB interrupt, which delivers mailbox interrupt from VF to PF will be
kept masked and such requests will be silently ignored.
Enable SR-IOV at the very end of the procedure to configure the device
for SR-IOV so that the PF is configured properly for SR-IOV when a VF is
activated.

Since the igb_disable_sriov() will call pci_disable_sriov() before
releasing any resources, the netdev core will synchronize the cleanup to
avoid any races. This patch removes the useless rtnl_(un)lock to guarantee
correctness.

Commit a97f8783a937 ("igb: unbreak I2C bit-banging on i350") introduced
code to change I2C settings to bit banging unconditionally.
However, this patch introduced a regression: On an Intel S2600CWR
Server Board with three NICs:
- 1x dual-port copper
Intel I350 Gigabit Network Connection [8086:1521] (rev 01)
fw 1.63, 0x80000dda
- 2x quad-port SFP+ with copper SFP Avago ABCU-5700RZ
Intel I350 Gigabit Fiber Network Connection [8086:1522] (rev 01)
fw 1.52.0
the SFP NICs no longer get link at all. Reverting commit a97f8783a937
or switching to the Intel out-of-tree driver both fix the problem.
Per the igb out-of-tree driver, I2C bit banging on i350 depends on
support for an external thermal sensor (ETS). However, commit
a97f8783a937 added bit banging unconditionally. Additionally, the
out-of-tree driver always calls init_thermal_sensor_thresh on probe,
while our driver only calls init_thermal_sensor_thresh only in
igb_reset(), and only if an ETS is present, ignoring the internal
thermal sensor. The affected SFPs don't provide an ETS. Per Intel,
the behaviour is a result of i350 firmware requirements.
This patch fixes the problem by aligning the behaviour to the
out-of-tree driver:
- split igb_init_i2c() into two functions:
- igb_init_i2c() only performs the basic I2C initialization.
- igb_set_i2c_bb() makes sure that E1000_CTRL_I2C_ENA is set
and enables bit-banging.
- igb_probe() only calls igb_set_i2c_bb() if an ETS is present.
- igb_probe() calls init_thermal_sensor_thresh() unconditionally.
- igb_reset() aligns its behaviour to igb_probe(), i. e., call
igb_set_i2c_bb() if an ETS is present and call
init_thermal_sensor_thresh() unconditionally.

Current taprio software implementation is haunted by the shadow of the
igb/igc hardware model. It iterates over child qdiscs in increasing
order of TXQ index, therefore giving higher xmit priority to TXQ 0 and
lower to TXQ N. According to discussions with Vinicius, that is the
default (perhaps even unchangeable) prioritization scheme used for the
NICs that taprio was first written for (igb, igc), and we have a case of
two bugs canceling out, resulting in a functional setup on igb/igc, but
a less sane one on other NICs.
To the best of my understanding, taprio should prioritize based on the
traffic class, so it should really dequeue starting with the highest
traffic class and going down from there. We get to the TXQ using the
tc_to_txq[] netdev property.
TXQs within the same TC have the same (strict) priority, so we should
pick from them as fairly as we can. We can achieve that by implementing
something very similar to q->curband from multiq_dequeue().
Since igb/igc really do have TXQ 0 of higher hardware priority than
TXQ 1 etc, we need to preserve the behavior for them as well. We really
have no choice, because in txtime-assist mode, taprio is essentially a
software scheduler towards offloaded child tc-etf qdiscs, so the TXQ
selection really does matter (not all igb TXQs support ETF/SO_TXTIME,
says Kurt Kanzenbach).
To preserve the behavior, we need a capability bit so that taprio can
determine if it's running on igb/igc, or on something else. Because igb
doesn't offload taprio at all, we can't piggyback on the
qdisc_offload_query_caps() call from taprio_enable_offload(), but
instead we need a separate call which is also made for software
scheduling.
Introduce two static keys to minimize the performance penalty on systems
which only have igb/igc NICs, and on systems which only have other NICs.
For mixed systems, taprio will have to dynamically check whether to
dequeue using one prioritization algorithm or using the other.

A summary of the flags being set for various drivers is given below.
Note that XDP_F_REDIRECT_TARGET and XDP_F_FRAG_TARGET are features
that can be turned off and on at runtime. This means that these flags
may be set and unset under RTNL lock protection by the driver. Hence,
READ_ONCE must be used by code loading the flag value.
Also, these flags are not used for synchronization against the availability
of XDP resources on a device. It is merely a hint, and hence the read
may race with the actual teardown of XDP resources on the device. This
may change in the future, e.g. operations taking a reference on the XDP
resources of the driver, and in turn inhibiting turning off this flag.
However, for now, it can only be used as a hint to check whether device
supports becoming a redirection target.

pci_enable_pcie_error_reporting() enables the device to send ERR_*
Messages. Since f26e58bf6f54 ("PCI/AER: Enable error reporting when AER is
native"), the PCI core does this for all devices during enumeration.
Remove the redundant pci_enable_pcie_error_reporting() call from the
driver. Also remove the corresponding pci_disable_pcie_error_reporting()
from the driver .remove() path.
Note that this doesn't control interrupt generation by the Root Port; that

When a MAC address is not assigned to the VF, that portion of the message
sent to the VF is not set. The memory, however, is allocated from the
stack meaning that information may be leaked to the VM. Initialize the
message buffer to 0 so that no information is passed to the VM in this
case.

Many drivers implement the .adjfreq or .adjfine PTP op function with the
same basic logic:
1. Determine a base frequency value
2. Multiply this by the abs() of the requested adjustment, then divide by
the appropriate divisor (1 billion, or 65,536 billion).
3. Add or subtract this difference from the base frequency to calculate a
new adjustment.
A few drivers need the difference and direction rather than the combined
new increment value.
I recently converted the Intel drivers to .adjfine and the scaled parts per
million (65.536 parts per billion) logic. To avoid overflow with minimal
loss of precision, mul_u64_u64_div_u64 was used.
The basic logic used by all of these drivers is very similar, and leads to
a lot of duplicate code to perform the same task.
Rather than keep this duplicate code, introduce diff_by_scaled_ppm and
adjust_by_scaled_ppm. These helper functions calculate the difference or
adjustment necessary based on the scaled parts per million input.
The diff_by_scaled_ppm function returns true if the difference should be
subtracted, and false otherwise.
Update the Intel drivers to use the new helper functions. Other vendor
drivers will be converted to .adjfine and this helper function in the
following changes.

We tell driver developers to always pass NAPI_POLL_WEIGHT
as the weight to netif_napi_add(). This may be confusing
to newcomers, drop the weight argument, those who really
need to tweak the weight can use netif_napi_add_weight().

The commit c23d92b80e0b ("igb: Teardown SR-IOV before
unregister_netdev()") places the unregister_netdev() call after the
igb_disable_sriov() call to avoid functionality issue.
However, it introduces several race conditions when detaching a device.
For example, when .remove() is called, the below interleaving leads to
use-after-free.

The 82576 PTP implementation still uses .adjfreq instead of using the newer
.adjfine.
This implementation uses a pre-simplified calculation since the base
increment value for the 82576 is just 16 * 2^19. Converting this into
scaled_ppm is tricky, and makes the intent a bit less clear.
Simply convert to the normal flow of multiplying the base increment value
by the scaled_ppm and then dividing by 1000000ULL << 16. This can be
implemented using mul_u64_u64_div_u64 which can avoid the possible overflow
that might occur for large adjustments.
Use of .adjfine can improve the precision of small adjustments and gets us
one driver closer to removing the old implementation from the kernel
entirely.

Intel I210 on some Intel Alder Lake platforms can only achieve ~750Mbps
Tx speed via iperf. The RR2DCDELAY shows around 0x2xxx DMA delay, which
will be significantly lower when 1) ASPM is disabled or 2) SoC package
c-state stays above PC3. When the RR2DCDELAY is around 0x1xxx the Tx
speed can reach to ~950Mbps.
According to the I210 datasheet "8.26.1 PCIe Misc. Register - PCIEMISC",
"DMA Idle Indication" doesn't seem to tie to DMA coalesce anymore, so
set it to 1b for "DMA is considered idle when there is no Rx or Tx AND
when there are no TLPs indicating that CPU is active detected on the
PCIe link (such as the host executes CSR or Configuration register read
or write operation)" and performing Tx should also fall under "active
CPU on PCIe link" case.
In addition to that, commit b6e0c419f040 ("igb: Move DMA Coalescing init
code to separate function.") seems to wrongly changed from enabling
E1000_PCIEMISC_LX_DECISION to disabling it, also fix that.

igb_read_phy_reg() will silently return, leaving phy_data untouched, if
hw->ops.read_reg isn't set. Depending on the uninitialized value of
phy_data, this led to the phy status check either succeeding immediately
or looping continuously for 2 seconds before emitting a noisy err-level
timeout. This message went out to the console even though there was no
actual problem.
Instead, first check if there is read_reg function pointer. If not,
proceed without trying to check the phy status register.

On changing the RX ring parameters igb uses a hack to avoid a warning
when calling xdp_rxq_info_reg via igb_setup_rx_resources. It just
clears the struct xdp_rxq_info content.
Instead, change this to unregister if we're already registered. Align
code to the igc code.

As stated in [1], dma_set_mask() with a 64-bit mask never fails if
dev->dma_mask is non-NULL.
So, if it fails, the 32 bits case will also fail for the same reason.
So, if dma_set_mask_and_coherent() succeeds, 'pci_using_dac' is known to be
1.
Simplify code and remove some dead code accordingly.

to save some cycles on freeing/allocating skbuff_heads on every
new Rx or completed Tx.
igb driver runs Tx completion polling cycle right before the Rx
one and uses napi_consume_skb() to feed the cache with skbuff_heads
of completed entries, so it's never empty and always warm at that
moment. Switch to the napi_build_skb() to relax mm pressure on
heavy Rx.
