2023-08-10i2c: dln2: Use dev_err_probe in probe functionLiao Chang1-4/+2
Use the dev_err_probe function instead of dev_err in the probe function so that the printed message includes the return value and also handles -EPROBE_DEFER nicely. 2023-06-05i2c: Convert to platform remove callback returning voidUwe Kleine-König1-4/+2
The .remove() callback for a platform driver returns an int which makes many driver authors wrongly assume it's possible to do error handling by returning an error code. However the value returned is (mostly) ignored and this typically results in resource leaks. To improve here there is a quest to make the remove callback return void. In the first step of this quest all drivers are converted to .remove_new() which already returns void. 2016-11-18i2c: constify i2c_adapter_quirks structuresJulia Lawall1-1/+1
Check for i2c_adapter_quirks structures that are only stored in the quirks field of an i2c_adapter structure.
