2024-07-04hwmon: (ltc2991) re-order conditions to fix off by one bugDan Carpenter1-2/+2
LTC2991_T_INT_CH_NR is 4. The st->temp_en[] array has LTC2991_MAX_CHANNEL (4) elements. Thus if "channel" is equal to LTC2991_T_INT_CH_NR then we have read one element beyond the end of the array. Flip the conditions around so that we check if "channel" is valid before using it as an array index. 2024-06-08hwmon: (ltc2991) use device_for_each_child_node_scoped()Javier Carrasco1-8/+3
Switch to the _scoped() version introduced in commit 365130fd47af ("device property: Introduce device_for_each_child_node_scoped()") to remove the need for manual calling of fwnode_handle_put() in the paths where the code exits the loop early. 2024-05-01hwmon: Drop explicit initialization of struct i2c_device_id::driver_data to 0Uwe Kleine-König1-1/+1
These drivers don't use the driver_data member of struct i2c_device_id, so don't explicitly initialize this member. This prepares putting driver_data in an anonymous union which requires either no initialization or named designators. But it's also a nice cleanup on its own. 2023-12-11hwmon: (ltc2991) remove device reference from stateAntoniu Miclaus1-11/+9
Remove device reference from struct ltc2991_state since it is used only inside the init function. Pass the struct device as parameter to the init function instead. 2023-10-29hwmon: Add driver for ltc2991Antoniu Miclaus1-0/+437
Add support for LTC2991 Octal I2C Voltage, Current, and Temperature Monitor. The LTC2991 is used to monitor system temperatures, voltages and currents. Through the I2C serial interface, the eight monitors can individually measure supply voltages and can be paired for differential measurements of current sense resistors or temperature sensing transistors. Additional measurements include internal temperature and internal VCC.
