2022-02-07drm: Convert open-coded yes/no strings to yesno()Lucas De Marchi1-1/+3
linux/string_helpers.h provides a helper to return "yes"/"no" strings. Replace the open coded versions with str_yes_no(). The places were identified with the following semantic patch: @@ expression b; @@ - b ? "yes" : "no" + str_yes_no(b) Then the includes were added, so we include-what-we-use, and parenthesis adjusted in drivers/gpu/drm/v3d/v3d_debugfs.c. 2020-03-18drm: convert .debugfs_init() hook to return void.Wambui Karuga1-2/+1
As a result of commit 987d65d01356 (drm: debugfs: make drm_debugfs_create_files() never fail) and changes to various debugfs functions in drm/core and across various drivers, there is no need for the drm_driver.debugfs_init() hook to have a return value. Therefore, declare it as void. This also includes refactoring all users of the .debugfs_init() hook to return void across the subsystem. v2: include changes to the hook and drivers that use it in one patch to prevent driver breakage and enable individual successful compilation of this change. 2015-06-03Add virtio gpu driver.Dave Airlie1-0/+64
This patch adds a kms driver for the virtio gpu. The xorg modesetting driver can handle the device just fine, the framebuffer for fbcon is there too. Qemu patches for the host side are under review currently. The pci version of the device comes in two variants: with and without vga compatibility. The former has a extra memory bar for the vga framebuffer, the later is a pure virtio device. The only concern for this driver is that in the virtio-vga case we have to kick out the firmware framebuffer. Initial revision has only 2d support, 3d (virgl) support requires some more work on the qemu side and will be added later.
