2019-05-31drm/bridge: tc358767: fix ansi 8b10b useTomi Valkeinen1-8/+3
DP always uses ANSI 8B10B encoding. Some monitors (old?) may not have the ANSI 8B10B bit set in DPCD, even if it should always be set. The tc358767 driver currently respects that flag, and turns the encoding off if the monitor does not have the bit set, which then results in the monitor not working. This patch makes the driver to always use ANSI 8B10B encoding, and drops the 'coding8b10b' field which is no longer used. 2019-03-18drm: Use new DRM_BUS_FLAG_*_(DRIVE|SAMPLE)_(POS|NEG)EDGE flagsLaurent Pinchart1-2/+2
The DRM_BUS_FLAG_PIXDATA_(POS|NEG)EDGE and DRM_BUS_FLAG_SYNC_(POS|NEG)EDGE flags are deprecated in favour of the new DRM_BUS_FLAG_PIXDATA_(DRIVE|SAMPLE)_(POS|NEG)EDGE and new DRM_BUS_FLAG_SYNC_(DRIVE|SAMPLE)_(POS|NEG)EDGE flags. 2019-01-24drm: Split out drm_probe_helper.hDaniel Vetter1-1/+1
Having the probe helper stuff (which pretty much everyone needs) in the drm_crtc_helper.h file (which atomic drivers should never need) is confusing. Split them out. To make sure I actually achieved the goal here I went through all drivers. And indeed, all atomic drivers are now free of drm_crtc_helper.h includes. v2: Make it compile. There was so much compile fail on arm drivers that I figured I'll better not include any of the acks on v1. v3: Massive rebase because i915 has lost a lot of drmP.h includes, but not all: Through drm_crtc_helper.h > drm_modeset_helper.h -> drmP.h there was still one, which this patch largely removes. Which means rolling out lots more includes all over. This will also conflict with ongoing drmP.h cleanup by others I expect. v3: Rebase on top of atomic bochs. v4: Review from Laurent for bridge/rcar/omap/shmob/core bits: - (re)move some of the added includes, use the better include files in other places (all suggested from Laurent adopted unchanged). - sort alphabetically v5: Actually try to sort them, and while at it, sort all the ones I touch. v6: Rebase onto i915 changes. v7: Rebase once more. This patch changes the configuration as follows: Configure DP0_SRCCTRL by using tc_srcctrl() which provides the correct value.
