2006-09-27sh: ioremap() overhaul.Paul Mundt1-4/+17
ioremap() overhaul. Add support for transparent PMB mapping, get rid of p3_ioremap(), etc. Also drop ioremap() and iounmap() routines from the machvec, as everyone can use the generic ioremap() API instead. For PCI memory apertures and other special cases, use the pci_iomap() API, as boards are already required to get the mapping right there. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <[email protected]>

2006-01-16[PATCH] sh: DMA updatesPaul Mundt7-94/+192
This extends the current SH DMA API somewhat to support a proper virtual channel abstraction, and also works to represent this through the driver model by giving each DMAC its own platform device. There's also a few other minor changes to support a few new CPU subtypes, and make TEI generation for the SH DMAC configurable. 2005-11-07[PATCH] sh: SuperHyway support for SH4-202Paul Mundt3-2/+180
This adds support for the relatively quirky (ie, not in line with any known documentation, and amazed it works at all) SuperHyway implementation on SH4-202. This depends on the earlier SuperHyway patch for multiple block support and VCR refactoring. 2005-10-30[PATCH] fix missing includesTim Schmielau1-0/+1
I recently picked up my older work to remove unnecessary #includes of sched.h, starting from a patch by Dave Jones to not include sched.h from module.h. This reduces the number of indirect includes of sched.h by ~300. Another ~400 pointless direct includes can be removed after this disentangling (patch to follow later). However, quite a few indirect includes need to be fixed up for this. In order to feed the patches through -mm with as little disturbance as possible, I've split out the fixes I accumulated up to now (complete for i386 and x86_64, more archs to follow later) and post them before the real patch. This way this large part of the patch is kept simple with only adding #includes, and all hunks are independent of each other. So if any hunk rejects or gets in the way of other patches, just drop it. My scripts will pick it up again in the next round. Signed-off-by: Tim Schmielau <[email protected]> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <[email protected]> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <[email protected]>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
