Pull device mapper updates from Mike Snitzer:
- Split dm-bufio's rw_semaphore and rbtree. Offers improvements to
dm-bufio's locking to allow increased concurrent IO -- particularly
for read access for buffers already in dm-bufio's cache.
- Also split dm-bio-prison-v1's spinlock and rbtree with comparable aim
at improving concurrent IO (for the DM thinp target).
- Both the dm-bufio and dm-bio-prison-v1 scaling of the number of locks
and rbtrees used are managed by dm_num_hash_locks(). And the hash
function used by both is dm_hash_locks_index().
- Allow DM targets to require DISCARD, WRITE_ZEROES and SECURE_ERASE to
be split at the target specified boundary (in terms of
max_discard_sectors, max_write_zeroes_sectors and
max_secure_erase_sectors respectively).
- DM verity error handling fix for check_at_most_once on FEC.
- Update DM verity target to emit audit events on verification failure
and more.
- DM core ->io_hints improvements needed in support of new discard
support that is added to the DM "zero" and "error" targets.
- Fix missing kmem_cache_destroy() call in initialization error path of
both the DM integrity and DM clone targets.
- A couple fixes for DM flakey, also add "error_reads" feature.
- Fix DM core's resume to not lock FS when the DM map is NULL;
otherwise initial table load can race with FS mount that takes
superblock's ->s_umount rw_semaphore.

Common KVM changes for 6.4:
- Drop unnecessary casts from "void *" throughout kvm_main.c
- Tweak the layout of "struct kvm_mmu_memory_cache" to shrink the struct
size by 8 bytes on 64-bit kernels by utilizing a padding hole
- Fix a documentation format goof that was introduced when the KVM docs
were converted to ReST
- Constify MIPS's internal callbacks (a leftover from the hardware enabling
rework that landed in 6.3)

KVM/arm64 updates for 6.4
- Numerous fixes for the pathological lock inversion issue that
plagued KVM/arm64 since... forever.
- New framework allowing SMCCC-compliant hypercalls to be forwarded
to userspace, hopefully paving the way for some more features
being moved to VMMs rather than be implemented in the kernel.
- Large rework of the timer code to allow a VM-wide offset to be
applied to both virtual and physical counters as well as a
per-timer, per-vcpu offset that complements the global one.
This last part allows the NV timer code to be implemented on
top.
- A small set of fixes to make sure that we don't change anything
affecting the EL1&0 translation regime just after having having
taken an exception to EL2 until we have executed a DSB. This
ensures that speculative walks started in EL1&0 have completed.
- The usual selftest fixes and improvements.

Add 2 early command line parameters that allow to downgrade satp mode
(using the same naming as x86):
- "no5lvl": use a 4-level page table (down from sv57 to sv48)
- "no4lvl": use a 3-level page table (down from sv57/sv48 to sv39)
Note that going through the device tree to get the kernel command line
works with ACPI too since the efi stub creates a device tree anyway with
the command line.
In KASAN kernels, we can't use the libfdt that early in the boot process
since we are not ready to execute instrumented functions. So instead of
using the "generic" libfdt, we compile our own versions of those functions
that are not instrumented and that are prefixed so that they do not
conflict with the generic ones. We also need the non-instrumented versions
of the string functions and the prefixed versions of memcpy/memmove.
This is largely inspired by commit aacd149b6238 ("arm64: head: avoid
relocating the kernel twice for KASLR") from which I removed compilation
flags that were not relevant to RISC-V at the moment (LTO, SCS). Also
note that we have to link with -z norelro to avoid ld.lld to throw a
warning with the new .got sections, like in commit 311bea3cb9ee ("arm64:
link with -z norelro for LLD or aarch64-elf").

Dumping the dtb from new versions of QEMU warns that sv57 is an
undocumented mmu-type. The kernel has supported sv57 for about a year,
so bring it into the fold.

to identify the SoC specific properties. Add a pattern property to

The X-Powers AXP313a is a PMIC used on some devices with the Allwinner
H616 or H313 SoC.
According to the datasheet, the DC/DC converter PWM frequency is fixed
(to 3 MHz), so disallow the property that lets us set this frequency
for the other PMICs.

The RZ/G2L multi-function timer pulse unit 3 (MTU3a) is embedded in
the Renesas RZ/G2L family SoC's. It consists of eight 16-bit timer
channels and one 32-bit timer channel. It supports the following

The syntax to disallow x-powers,drive-vbus-en,
x-powers,self-working-mode and x-powers,master-mode for certain variants
can be made simpler. Also this produces much nicer warning message when
the condition hits wrong DTS.

- The ST remoteproc driver is transitioned to use of_property_present()
- Issues with kicks arriving after the STM32 remote processor has been
shut down are mitigated by checking the processor's state before
handling them.
- Support for mailbox channels for communication with the remote

Parsing and formating timerlat data might consume a reasonable
amount of CPU time on very large systems, or when timerlat
has a too short period.
Add an option to run timerlat with auto-analysis enabled while
skipping the statistics parsing. In this mode, rtla timerlat
periodically checks if the tracing is on, going to sleep waiting
for the stop tracing condition to stop tracing, or for the
tracing session to finish.
If the stop tracing condition is hit, the tool prints the auto
analysis. Otherwise, the tool prints the max observed latency and
exit. The max observed latency is captured via tracing_max_latency.
