2012-11-21ARM - OMAP: ads7846: fix pendown debounce settingIgor Grinberg1-14/+20
Commit 97ee9f01 (ARM: OMAP: fix the ads7846 init code) have enabled the pendown GPIO debounce time setting by the below sequence: gpio_request_one() gpio_set_debounce() gpio_free() It also revealed a bug in the OMAP GPIO handling code which prevented the GPIO debounce clock to be disabled and CORE transition to low power states. Commit c9c55d9 (gpio/omap: fix off-mode bug: clear debounce settings on free/reset) fixes the OMAP GPIO handling code by making sure that the GPIO debounce clock gets disabled if no GPIO is requested from current bank. While fixing the OMAP GPIO handling code (in the right way), the above commit makes the gpio_request->set_debounce->free sequence invalid as after freeing the GPIO, the debounce settings are lost. Fix the debounce settings by moving the debounce initialization to the actual GPIO requesting code - the ads7846 driver. 2012-11-08Input: introduce managed input devices (add devres support)Dmitry Torokhov2-28/+155
There is a demand from driver's writers to use managed devices framework for their drivers. Unfortunately up to this moment input devices did not provide support for managed devices and that lead to mixing two styles of resource management which usually introduced more bugs, such as manually unregistering input device but relying in devres to free interrupt handler which (unless device is properly shut off) can cause ISR to reference already freed memory. This change introduces devm_input_allocate_device() that will allocate managed instance of input device so that driver writers who prefer using devm_* framework do not have to mix 2 styles. 2012-11-02l2tp: fix oops in l2tp_eth_create() error pathTom Parkin1-0/+1
When creating an L2TPv3 Ethernet session, if register_netdev() should fail for any reason (for example, automatic naming for "l2tpeth%d" interfaces hits the 32k-interface limit), the netdev is freed in the error path. However, the l2tp_eth_sess structure's dev pointer is left uncleared, and this results in l2tp_eth_delete() then attempting to unregister the same netdev later in the session teardown.
